here are pics of my antferns Lecanopteris. I only grow three species but plan to increase my collection of Lecanopteris.
Lecanopteris sinuosa in the first three pics
When these antferns have become very large growing several layers of their rhizome above each other one day the lower and older part of the rhizome starts to rot. Countless tiny yellow fungi settled on the rhizome and I was forced to break the rhizome apart. My once impressive Lomarioides didn´t recover so far and I fear its loss! I have just asked a friend for a new piece of rhizome.
Same happened to L. curtisii but it´s fully back at its peak now:
Has anyone of you ever tried to raise a Lecanopteris from spores?
I tried with Curtisii but nothing at all happened!
