Teman-teman, setelah ikut conference di International Botanical Congress di Melbourne Australia 23-30 Juli kemarin, saya berfikir, bagus juga kalo KTKI bisa buat Nepenthes summit di Indonesia. Di conference tsb, sayang hanya ada 1 riset Nepenthes oleh peneliti Australia. Saya coba buat "coretan" dari apa yang ada di kepala saya. Jika berkenan, silakan ditambahkan "coretan" di bawah ini...

1. Knowledge-sharing dan publikasi hasil penelitian biodiversitas yang terkait ilmu sains, ekonomi dan konservasi.
2. Knowledge-sharing dan publikasi hasil penelitian tanaman Nepenthes selama 5 tahun terakhir.
3. Membangun jaringan keilmuan dan riset antara akademisi/peneliti UAD dan KTKI dengan akademisi/peneliti Indonesia dan dunia.
4. Mewujudkan misi UAD yaitu “toward world-class university”.
5. Meningkatkan/mempertahankan akreditasi prodi Biologi UAD.
6. Memperkenalkan KTKI sebagai komunitas hobiis dan peneliti Nepenthes.
7. Menginisiasi kerjasama prodi Biologi dengan industri untuk meningkatkan kualitas mahasiswa dan lulusan prodi Biologi UAD.
8. Meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas calon mahasiswa prodi Biologi UAD
9. Memperkenalkan kekayaan biodiversitas tamanan Indonesia, khususnya tanaman obat dan tanaman Nepenthes
10. Memperkenalkan kekayaan biodiversitas DIY-Jateng, khususnya di habitat hutan pegunungan (mountain forest), gumuk pasir (sand dune), dan gua (cave).
