i got good news and bad news... yours seems to always be good news cindy hehehe.... oh anyway all my cephs died but 1.... 3 white shoots with green tips...
so i repotted it in a mix of moist LFS and silica sand... its more even now more like 1:1... and im not using pots... im using a fruit bowl with lots of gap underneath so cephs got more air for its roots... and with a cover on top with some air holes...
Back to zero i guess sighs... Now im giving it air con at nite ( Sleeps in the same room wif me now ) and outdoors during the day... and the media is more on the wet side this time around...

Friend, are you cooking your Cephs in that enclosed set-up? You've got to think how your intermediate Neps grow...quick draining media yet lots of water through the media and enjoys humidity fluctuation and good air circulation. Mine are now at the balcony and receives direct sunlight from 2-5pm daily. The rest of the time is very bright shade. Yesterday, the humidity dropped to as low as 39%RH and they are still happy. Here is an example of a small plant which came in the middle of March. When it was first potted up, both shoots were limp. 10 days later, the shoot on the left rotted and died down to nothing. But the shoot on the right remains healthy and green. It has also firmed up. I treat the new plant the same as the rest of my Cephs under T5 lights. Peat/sand mix, 50:50. Watering every 2-3 days when the top layer of the media become barely moist. The RH at my balcony is at around 40%-70% daily.

wah..ada tanda2 hidup tuh,gk usah diubah2 dulu posisi dan tempatnya, siram permukaan media dengan sprayer klo media permukaan kering, klo disiram air kuatirnya terlalu banyak air dan busuk

posisinya sih gak diubah2 tapi kalo malem dipindah masuk ruangan ber ac... medianya juga cukup porous dan memakai keranjang untuk pot jadi dibawah tuh banyak lubang2nya... penyiraman hanya 3 hari sekali...
oh iya cephalotus tuh perlu pakai air ac gak yah... khawatir juga kalo pake air pam maklum cuman semata wayang nih...

Sorry, Alfred. I accidently deleted your PM on the GCS forum before I could reply to it. Your baby is finally coming back. Goog for you! One word of advice though, make sure you give it sufficient ventilation. Cephs actually quite hate humid and stale conditions. They do take low humidity down to 28% for short periods of time very well. I'll PM you the pics of your soon-to-be babies tomorrow.
