Here are some photos of neps I'm growing in Thailand. The majority of these are Thai-bred hybrids. Despite our scorching hot weather of the last 2 months they all seem happy enough! (Yes, I recognize the "Thorelii" hybrids are not real Thorelii, that's why I use the " " marks). First a few variations of seed grown 'Tiger' x khasiana. Getting a lot of stunning red coloration in these; and a close-up kuchinensis x miranda alata 'Quezon' coccinea x amp kuchinensis grn x Viking 'King Tiger' x Mirabilis 'Kuraburi' Viking x (amp x mirabilis) 'Tiger' x raff 'Alata' "Thorelii" x miranda "Thorelii" x raff 'Jahore spotted' Reinwardtiana 'Red' Hybrid house ;D ~Shawn

'Tiger' and true 'Viking' hybrid always attractive, he, he. I always love viking x kuchingensis from Thailand. ;D. . I wander how kuchingensis x miranda will be when it is turn to mature. It should be giant ;D

Thanks guys1
Antonio L - yes, the amp crosses often end up looking a bit hookeriana-ish! It is fun to see how each separate seed-grown plant differs from its brothers and sisters...one showing traits of Mom the next more like Dad!
yumcatz - the kuchinensis x miranda is mostly just 'showing' the kuch side of things...as you said, "maybe when it gets older"!
dontknowwhy - it seems the vast majority of my seedling plants are Red, either leaves or pitchers or both! I sure don't mind it!
